The Wolf Tooth Elliptical GRX Chainring 38t 110 BCD Asymmetric 4-Bolt is designed for Shimano GRX cranksets, including the 600 and 800 series models. It features Wolf Tooth's patented Drop-Stop B tooth profile, which enhances chain retention and mud clearance, making it suitable for 9, 10, 11, and 12-speed drivetrains, except Shimano 12-speed chains that require the ST version.
This 38-tooth oval chainring uses a 4-bolt 110mm asymmetric bolt circle diameter (BCD) compatible with Shimano GRX cranksets. It is made from durable 7075-T6 aluminum and maintains a 50mm chainline matching original Shimano GRX chainrings. The elliptical Powertrac design provides the equivalent diameter of a 40-tooth round chainring.
For muddy conditions, it is recommended to use a chainguide or chainkeeper along with a clutch-type rear derailleur to prevent chain drops or chainsuck. The chainring weighs 72 grams and is finished in black.
This product is made in the USA and is compatible with all SRAM Flattop chains and most 9-12 speed chains, except Shimano 12-speed Hyperglide+ chains which require the Drop-Stop ST version.
Compatible with Shimano GRX 600 and 800 series cranks, designed for 9 to 12-speed drivetrains with a 110mm asymmetric 4-bolt BCD.
