The Wolf Tooth 34T Chainring is designed for compact triple cranksets with a 96 BCD symmetrical 4-bolt pattern, compatible with models M782, M672, M622, and M612. Made from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in black, it features Wolf Tooth's patented Drop-Stop tooth design, which alternates wide and narrow teeth to improve chain retention and reduce derailments. The wide teeth maximize contact on the drive side to distribute load and increase chainring life, while the narrow teeth provide clearance for mud and debris to reduce friction.
This chainring works with 1x9, 1x10, 1x11, and 1x12 drivetrains and fits all 10-, 11-, and 12-speed chains except 12-speed chains, which require a specific Wolf Tooth chainring. For 9-speed drivetrains, using a 10-speed chain is recommended for better retention. It provides a 49mm chainline, suitable for most boost bikes.
The ring is threaded for standard M8 chainring bolts, enabling no-nut installation. For muddy conditions, use with a chainguide or chainkeeper and a clutch-type rear derailleur to minimize chain drops and chainsuck.
