REVERSE BASE PLATFORM PEDALS, ALUMINUM, BLACK
Reference Number: 5AW9PO
Reverse Base Pedals in black feature a large, wide platform measuring 116 x 104 mm for secure footing. They are built with an aluminum body and a CrMo spindle, weighing 420 grams. These pedals use a specially developed "Baurillium" bushing made from a metal alloy, which replaces traditional plastic or Teflon bushings. This design provides improved durability, long-lasting performance, and low maintenance through permanent lubrication from microscopic pores in the alloy. The pedal's concave shape offers direct feedback and helps prevent foot slips, while the pronounced threaded pins increase grip by anchoring shoe soles. The edges of the pedal are slightly rounded to better deflect impacts from roots or rocks. The platform size is 9/16".
