The microSHIFT R8 Left Drop Bar Shift and Brake Lever is designed for 8-speed road double systems. It features comfortable ergonomics and easy installation, making it suitable for replacing a broken shifter, converting to drop bars, or building a new setup. The shifter includes a cable and housing and has separate dedicated levers for upshifts and downshifts. It offers external shift cable routing for low friction, smooth response, and simplified cable and housing replacement. The hood cover and faceplate are replaceable. The brake lever has a short pull actuation and is black in color. Adjustable reach is not available. The weight of the unit is 215 grams.
