MAXXIS ASSEGAI TIRE 29 X 2.6 TUBELESS FOLDING BLACK DUAL EXO WIDE TRAIL
Reference Number: 9E20C4
The Maxxis Assegai is a 29 x 2.6 tubeless-ready folding tire designed for downhill racing and aggressive trail riding in mixed conditions. It features a knob height between the Minion DHR II and the Shorty tires, with heavily ramped center knobs to reduce rolling resistance. A small knob between the center tread and side knobs ensures smooth cornering transitions. The tire provides predictable traction on slippery roots and rocks.
Constructed with a dual compound rubber for low rolling resistance and improved cornering grip, the Assegai includes an EXO casing that offers lightweight, flexible sidewall protection against cuts and abrasions. Its Wide Trail design is optimized for modern wider rims with a 35mm inner width. This tire is recommended for trail, enduro, and downhill use and is intended for front installation.
