This bundle includes one left-hand and one right-hand Hope EVO GR4 Disc Brake and Lever Set in black and purple. Each set features a four-piston hydraulic brake with a post mount caliper and braided hydraulic hose.
The Hope GR4 is designed for demanding gravity and e-bike applications, delivering maximum power with smooth lever action for natural control. Key features include an increased lever hook for better grip and control during aggressive riding, a cam design that reduces free lever stroke while maintaining modulation, and a roller bearing main pivot with dual guide bushings for smooth piston movement.
The one-piece caliper offers an optimized stiffness-to-weight ratio, improving lever feel and braking power. Larger pistons enhance the brake ratio without compatibility for vented rotors. The caliper's new bore cap design reduces its overall width to improve packaging and frame compatibility. The brake also provides a wide adjustment range to suit various hubs and frames and includes a bleed port on the master cylinder body for bleeding without removing the lid.
Both left and right brake levers have adjustable reach and contact points. The system uses DOT hydraulic fluid and organic brake pads. Rotors are not included.
