WOLF TOOTH DROP-STOP B 36T DIRECT MOUNT CHAINRING FOR 8-BOLT CRANKS
Reference Number: 5NR9YC
Wolf Tooth Direct Mount Chainrings for 8-bolt gravel and road cranks combine the chainring and spider into a single, lightweight, and stiff machined billet piece. These chainrings feature Wolf Tooth's patented Drop-Stop design, which enhances wear life, chain retention, and mud clearance. The Drop-Stop B version is optimized specifically for Eagle and Flattop chains.
These direct mount chainrings replace your existing chainring and spider or the direct mount chainring on AXS cranksets, 2025 Cane Creek eeWings Titanium Cranks (8-bolt), and other cranksets using the 8-bolt mounting standard. They are compatible with 12-speed and 13-speed groupsets, including Red XPLR AXS. Direct Mount DUB road cranksets also use the 8-bolt mounting standard.
Chainline measures 45mm on standard spindle cranks and 47.5mm on wide spindle cranks. For best chain security, use a clutch-style rear derailleur. Installation requires the included custom T20 stainless steel bolts, tightened to 4Nm using a T20 bit.
Available sizes range from 38T to 52T, with aero chainrings in 46-52T and non-aero in 38-44T. This product is made in the USA from 7075-T6 aluminum. The 36T Drop-Stop B chainring weighs 109g.
Included:
- One direct mount chainring
- Set of eight custom T20 stainless steel bolts
