The Shimano Deore XT M8100 front brake combines the BL-M8100 lever with the BR-M8100 2-piston caliper for powerful, controlled braking across XC, trail, and general mountain bike use.
The BL-M8100 lever uses Shimano’s Servo Wave Action for quicker pad engagement and a short, responsive lever stroke. Its revised support point increases lever stiffness under hard braking, while tool-adjustable reach lets the rider fine-tune lever position.
This front brake is supplied pre-bled with Shimano mineral oil, an 850mm hydraulic hose, and metallic finned brake pads for consistent braking and improved heat management.
