MAXXIS FOREKASTER 29"X2.40 MTB TIRE, FOLDING, TUBELESS READY, 3C MAXX TERRA
Reference Number: 2EP2TC
The Maxxis Forekaster is a 29"x2.40 folding mountain tire designed for modern short travel trail bikes, also known as "downcountry" bikes. It features a 3C Maxx Terra compound and EXO+ sidewall protection for durability. The tire is tubeless ready and built with 60 TPI casing for a balance of strength and suppleness.
With a wide trail (WT) design and E50 e-bike rating, this tire offers solid cornering and braking traction in loose, medium, mud, and wet trail conditions. Its widely spaced, siped knobs provide excellent grip and help shed mud quickly, making it a reliable choice for aggressive cross-country riding. The tire is black in color and supports a maximum pressure of 60 PSI.
Designed for modern short travel trail bikes in the downcountry segment, offering balanced speed and traction.
3C Maxx Terra compound enhances grip for aggressive XC trail riding in loose, wet, and muddy conditions.
Wide Trail casing and 60 TPI construction provide durability and optimized performance with a folding bead design.
Tubeless ready clincher design allows for easy setup and improved puncture resistance on mountain terrains.
EXO+ sidewall protection and E50 rating ensure extra durability and compatibility with eBikes.
