The Enduro Linear Headset Press Kit with Guides and Zipnut is designed for precise and efficient headset installation. It includes a 3/8 inch (10mm) Acme thread press rod, interchangeable Liner Quick Handles, a quick-action 3/8 Zipnut, and a full set of common guide sizes for accurate bearing alignment.
The press rod uses a 29-degree angle Acme thread, similar to those found in high-precision applications like CNC machine lead screws. This thread design features wider, stronger bases for enhanced durability and delivers exact 90-degree force for proper bearing seating and alignment. Each rod has a static nut fitted with a precision thrust bearing, ensuring smooth, bind-free operation.
The 6061 aluminum Linear Quick Handles can be combined in different ways for versatile use: two short handles for tight spaces, two long handles for leverage, or mixed lengths for control. These handles attach easily to the fixed thrust nut and quick-action Zipnut, and can be driven by hand, open-end or socket wrenches, or Allen wrenches via machined ends.
