Works Components 1.5 EC44-EC44 Angleset Headset (Black, Set of 2)
This angleset headset is designed for tapered forks with a 1.5 head tube angle. It fits EC44/28.6 upper and EC44/40 lower headset standards and includes all parts needed for installation: top cap (with star nut), bearings, and a split 7075-T6 aluminum crown race for easy, tool-free fitting.
The headset features ACB sealed bearings: the upper bearing has a 41mm outer diameter with 45 x 45 contact angles, and the lower bearing has a 52mm outer diameter with the same contact angles. The upper cup stack height is 11mm (16mm including bearing cover), and the lower cup stack height is 14mm. Cup insertion depths are 9mm for the upper and 10.5mm for the lower.
This external, threadless headset is suited for head tube lengths between 90mm and 99mm. It comes in black and is compatible with tapered forks; if using a 1 1/8" fork, a separate reducer crown from Works Components is required.
Designed for tapered forks with a 1.5 head tube angle to ensure precise steering alignment.
